Saturday Tours - See you in September
Tours are on summer holiday. We'll be back on Saturday, Sept. 11th, 1-4pm. As always, it's a free tour and tasting, no appointment is necessary and last tour starts by 3:30pm.
Local Brewers Show Their Cojones
You guessed it--a bocce ball tournament hosted by Iron Hill Wilmington! The Flying Fish Fireballers will be there along with Stewart's, Sly Fox, Victory, Dogfish Head, and Yards battling for a trophy none of us even realized we coveted.

The only thing better than cheese and beer is. . . cheese made with beer. Our friends at Cherry Grove Farms in Lawrenceville, NJ are making an organic semi-soft cheese in which the rind is washed for several weeks with our Abbey Dubbel.

Major league baseball got underway this week, so when you're cheering on the Phillies to get back to a 3rd consecutive World Series, look for Flying Fish Extra Pale Ale at the quite enjoyable Citizens Bank Park. This year, you'll be able to find Farmhouse Summer Ale in bottles as well.
Exit 1 Featured in Washington Post
Greg Kitsock did a great feature on Oyster Stouts prominently featuring Exit 1 Bayshore Oyster Stout. Although the draft is all gone, there are still bottles to be found. If you don't see it, ask for it!
Exit 4 Now Out in Six Packs
Most people missed it when it came out as the first of the Exit Series in the big bottles. Based on popular demand and acclaim, we've now released it as a pretty much year 'round beer in 12oz. bottles. The first batch just started shipping so it may take a week or two to hit your neighborhood.

For its third stop on our multi-year trip to explore the state of New Jersey through its beer and culture, Flying Fish journeys to Exit 1 for Bayshore Oyster Stout.
Oysters have had a long association with stout in the United Kingdom.

It's just started shipping, so keep your eyes out for this year's Grand Cru Winter Reserve. If you hadn't had this beer before, think of this Belgian-style Golden Ale as the big brother--the real big brother--of the Farmhouse Summer Ale.
Gold Fish: 2 medals at Great American Beer Festival
Congrats to the Flying Fish brew crew as Exit 4 American Trippel took home the gold in a highly competitive category at Denver's Great American Beer Festival. We also grabbed bronze for HopFish IPA. This is on the heels of last year's silver medal for Abbey Dubbel.
Men's Journal Names Exit 4 Best Belgian Beer Brewed in America
